Mrs. Alease Cynthia Miller Cole was born to Sam Willie and Marie Sanders Miller on June 21, 1944, in Clearwater, Florida.
After graduating from high school, Mrs. Cole continued her educational goals at Gibbs Junior College, where in 1965 she obtained her AA Degree in Business Administration. Her early employment began within the Pinellas County School Board System as a secretary for a local school. Shortly thereafter, Mrs. Cole transferred to Morton Plant Hospital and finalized her career as the corporate secretary for E. L. Cole Photography, Inc.
Mrs. Cole was a devoted member of Bethany CME Church in Clearwater, Florida, before relocating her membership to Mt. Herman Missionary Baptist Church, Tarpon Springs, Florida, where she served diligently as an alto and tenor of Choir #2 and the Mass Choir. At a young age, Mrs. Cole developed a love for singing, sewing, and fashion.
Mrs. Cole utilized her gifts and talents through her dedication and devotion to singing in her church choir and throughout the community. When not making a joyful noise, Mrs. Cole enjoyed her downtime through avid thrifting and financial investments, while tending to her role as wife, mother, grandmother, family member and friend, who enjoyed family time and gatherings.
Mrs. Alease Cynthia Miller Cole departed from this life on May 12, 2025, in Tarpon Springs, Florida.
She is predeceased by…her parents, Sam Willie and Marie Sanders Miller, brothers, Herbert Miller, Johnny Miller, and Daniel Miller, and sisters, Queen Esther Dixon and Mary Miller Christian.
She leaves to cherish her memories…
Her husband of 56 years, Eddie Lee Cole, Sr.
Sons: Eddie Cole, Jr., and Travis Cole, Sr. (Natalie)
Daughter: Crystal Cole Rice (Richard, Sr.)
Brother: Willie Miller (Annie)
Sister: Earline Gilbert (Ralph)
Grandchildren: Travayana Cole, Maxie Cole (Orvel Graham, Jr.), Travis Cole, Jr., Tyler Crosby, Noah Crosby, Victory Crosby, and Daisha Jenkins
Great-grandchildren: Daxton McKinney, Drayson McKinney, Amora Graham, Nasir Ghanie, and Kaya Grace Ghanie
Lifelong friend: Evelyn Kendrick
And a host of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family, and friends.
