Obituary For David Hampton Floyd

David Hampton Floyd was born December 10, 1973 in Clearwater, Florida to the late Johnnie Mae Floyd & David Hampton. Life claimed all that was mortal on Friday August 29, 2025 at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater.

David began his elementary school education in Pinellas County and moved to Alabama as a young child, continuing his studies in the Macon County school system until he graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Tuskegee, Alabama.

He was brought up attending the Mt. Andrews Baptist Church in Macon County, Alabama.

David had a kind and likeable manner, he was much loved and his positive impact on the young and the old that he encountered whether at work or at play will long be remembered with great fondness.

Left to cherish his memories are:

Sons: Justin Bernard Tate, Tuskegee, AL., & David H. Floyd, III, St. Petersburg, FL.

Sister: K. Denice Pena, Miami FL.

Brothers: Michael Floyd, Wayne Floyd Clearwater, FL, and Aaron Floyd, Polk County, FL.

A host of other relatives and friends.
