To the Odoms Family, I respectfully give my dearest Condolences on behalf of the Harris family. Mr. Odoms was a great neighbor, friend and citizen of "Bellaire" . He was like an Uncle to all of us that grew up in Bellaire. Always smiling, laughing , and having something funny to say. He loved his Family and community. May God light perpetual shine upon you as you have entered your Eternal rest. And may the Joy of the Lord be Your strength Aunty Mattie, Shannon ,Eugene,& Grands. May God Bless, and Keep You All.
Words cannot express what a profound loss his daily presence will be to so many of us, but we take much comfort in the undisputed fact that he was a man of God, and his walk spoke volumes. Sidney & Mattie were there for so many grieving families over the years, and it's time for Mattie to let us be there for her. Through the ups and downs of this earthly life, you both maintained and demonstrated your faith for the rest of us. Sidney was a good and faithful servant, deserving of his rest. We will embrace the wonderful memories he left us until we meet again! Much love to the family!
Rest in peace you will truly Missed From Chillita Bell and family.

To Mrs. Mattie Odums & Family So sorry to hear of the loss of your husband, our friend, brother and neighbor.Though words can do little to comfort you. May God continue to strengthen and bless you and your family .
I've known Mr. Sidney all my life and got to be around him in my teenage years as Shannon and I became close friends. Even as a young woman what I recognized and RESPECTED about him was that he was true; what you saw is who he was! He made you feel safe in his presence, ALWAYS having a kind word and unspoken encouraging way about him. He didn't have to preach the word to you every time you saw him because his life showed the WORD in practice. That made a lasting impression on me and he will always be special to me. My prayers are with his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched!
I will always remember Gene. My deepest heartfelt sympathy to the family.
