Obituary For Delores Watson Lang

Delores Watson Lang was born on October 7, 1942, in Alachua, Florida to H.W. Watson and Rosa Lee Hickmon.

She graduated from A.L. Mebane School, Class of 1959. Delores was a member of Church of Christ in Alachua, Florida. She joined St. John Primitive Baptist Church in 1997, under the leadership of Elder Benjamin Adams, Jr., where the Senior Mission was one of her passions. Delores was employed as a Pinellas County Schools Bus Driver for 33 years, retiring in 1995. She later became a Pinellas County Schools Crossing Guard. Delores loved being outside and enjoyed fishing and gardening.

Delores Watson Lang departed this life on April 4, 2026, in Dunedin, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her son, Antonio Lang, mother, Rosa Lee Hickmon, father, H.W. Watson and sister, Jannette McLeod.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by…her son: Carlos D. Lang (Mercedes) of Tarpon Springs, FL; brother: Larry G. Watson (Mary), of Trenton, FL; sisters: Alice K. Demps of Clearwater, FL, Lola McNeal (Ronald) of High Springs, FL, Vanessa H. Callahan, of Ocala, FL and Betty Belcher of Clearwater, FL; grandchildren: Carlos M. Lang, Nykia Walker and Jalisa Jones; great-grandchildren: Amira N. Lang and Jizelle N. Lang; and a host of other relatives and friends.
