Earline Adams was born in Englewood, Florida on August 18, 1941, to the late Paul Herring and Darkes Brown. She departed this life on March 2, 2026, at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida.
Earline received her education through the public schools of Pinellas County, Florida. As an adult she found employment doing what she loved to do and after many years of service, she retired from Morton Plant Hospital in the Dietary Department.
Earline joined True Vine Baptist Church in the 1990’s under the leadership of the late Reverend Columbus Bridges and she was a loyal and dependable member attending Sunday School and Worship Services, until her physical health declined. She remained in contact with her church family through visits and prayer.
Earline served willingly on any church auxiliary, but her specialty was working with the Food and Kitchen Committee. Her delicious “collard greens” were highly requested and our then Pastor insisted they be included on every menu at all our food fellowship gatherings, no matter what the occasion was.
Her smile and generous spirit touched everyone she met. She loved her family and friends and often gave thoughtful advice and words of encouragement. She will be long remembered by all who knew her.
She leaves cherished memories to her son, Michael Dampier; two brothers, Bennie Herring and Dennis Herring; one sister, Mary Upshur; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends and a loving church family.
