Obituary For Freddie Mae Owens

Freddie Mae Owens, affectionately known to family as “Aunt Skeet”, was born on October 20, 1935, in Statesboro, Georgia. She attended the public schools of Pinellas County and was employed as a domestic housekeeper and caregiver. Freddie loved to cook and always baked the best cakes and pies for birthdays and holidays. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

Freddie Mae Owens transitioned from this earthly life to her eternal home on February 26, 2024, in Clearwater, Florida. She was predeceased by her husband, Jerome Owens, daughter, Audrey Isaac, grandson, Roy Dampier and granddaughters, Elaine Rowell and Torsha Hatton.

Loving memories will forever remain with…her sons: Ruben Williams, Anthony Isaac, Kenneth Isaac and Willie Isaac, all of Clearwater, FL; daughters: Margaret Lynn of Seffner, FL, Zelda Johnson and Faye Isaac, both of Clearwater, FL; brother: Jim Sullivan of Safety Harbor, FL; sister: Dorothy Campbell of Safety Harbor, FL; grandchildren: Gwen Renea Farquharson (Eric) of Spring Hill, FL, Darlene Wade of Trinity, FL, Tanika Dampier of Clearwater, FL, Tony Williams (Winzella) of Tarpon Springs, FL, Jermaine Fitzgerald of Orlando, FL, Shantaye Isaac of Oldsmar, FL, Antonio Isaac of St. Petersburg, FL, Joyce Lynn of Seffner, FL, Shernada Williams of St. Petersburg, FL, Keytric Isaac, Anthony Isaac, both of Clearwater, FL, Keydreona Isaac of Largo, FL, Kingston Isaac and Omini Isaac, both of Zephyrhills, FL; brother-in-law: Jerry Woodson “Honeyboy”; best friend: Mary Upshur of Clearwater, FL; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Public Viewing: Friday, March 8, 2024, 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Smith-Young Funeral Home Chapel, 1005 Howard Street, Clearwater, Florida, 33756.

Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 1:30 P.M. at Emanuel Christian Church, 585 Ninth Avenue North, Safety Harbor, Florida 34595.
