Sir Lancelot Ivan Lewis Small Lancelot Ivan Lewis Small was born on April 27, 1930, in Georgetown Guyana to the late Thomas and Ella Small. Lancelot graduated from St. Phillips Secondary School in Georgetown Guyana. He also attended the Technical Institute for Refrigeration Engineering in Guyana, New York City, and Pennsylvania. He was a resident of New York City from 1969 to present day. He worked as a Consultant for Guyana Marketing Corp. Plant from 1961 – 1970. He worked for Slone Kettering Hospital from 1972-1986. Lancelot was a dedicated member of Greater Refuge Temple in Harlem New York City. He sang as tenor in the Sr. Choir on the 1st and 3rd Sundays. Lancelot Ivan Lewis Small departed this life on May 15, 2020. He leaves to cherish his memories: 3 Daughters – Andrea Small, Mayleen Deweever and Tessa Small, 7 Sons – Roland Small, Geoffery Small, Marlon Small, John Small, Andrew Small, Heston Small and Milroy Small. 20 plus Grand Children, 20 plus Great Grand Children, 1 nephew Glen Ford, 4 nieces Ingrid Chase, Lucian Norman, Lavern Corlette, Loreen Corlette and a host of other family and friends. Funeral Services 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 2, 2020 with a Visitation Monday, June 1, 2020 5-7 pm. All services at Smith-Young Funeral Home Chapel 1005 Howard Street, Clearwater. Interment to follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens, Trinity, FL.
