On the afternoon of July 24th, 2025, Linda Marie Bowers graced heaven peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones at Morton Plant Hospital.

Linda was born in Pennsville, New Jersey to Sharon Carney in March 12,1969. Though she grew up young and full of life in her home state, she moved to Florida with her mother and brother Scotty not long after school and brought her amazing smile and bright personality with her.

She was a hard-working district manager for the St. Petersburg Times for decades. Known as an incredible mother to her children. They were her entire world, and she always supported their passions and hobbies no matter what. A fantastic friend/family member to all, she was the glue that held us together.

She was also especially fond of cats and fell in love with them after her first cat Macy, with 3 more soon to follow and made sure they had a loving home.

She was preceded in passing by her mother Sharon, her brother Scotty and her grandmother Ruth.

She leaves to reflect and to cherish fond memories…
