Obituary For Nancy Jane Bradley

Obituary Nancy Jane Siebert Bradley

My dear ones, although my eyes are closed now, and this part of my journey is over, and I’ve gone home. Miss me, but let me go.

The journey for Nancy Jane Siebert began on December 20, 1926, somewhere between 12:01 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. in Alachua, Florida. Nancy was one of six children born to Edward and Martha Siebert. Nancy moved to Clearwater, Florida where her sister, Mary Rutledge resided.

She attended the schools of Pinellas County and completed her basic education.

Her spiritual journey was at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, where she served in several ministries.

She was involved in the community with The Meal On Wheels, NAACP and a member of the Bowling Team. It was here in Clearwater that Nancy met and married United States Army Veteran, Leon W. Bradley, who was one of Clearwater Police Department’s first black Police Officer.

Nancy and Leon, Sr. together mothered, fathered raised and nurtured James, Sandra and Leon, Jr. Nancy Jane Siebert Bradley’s long quiet and peaceful life’s journey began to decline and on July 11, 2023, at 12:51 p.m., the peace that surpasses our understanding welcomed her home.
