Twila and I met in the Navy. We became fast close friends. I was her first friend away from home. We were young and full of adventures to see what the world had in store for us. It was a handful of us that stuck together and did everything together. And we enjoyed life! I think she fell in love with Georgia when she went home with me on one my visits. Twila was a sweetheart with a heart as big as her smile. My heart is heavy. We always talked about who were going to visit who. I hate we kept putting it off and then we lost touch about a year and half ago. True friendship is always embedded in your heart and spirit no matter the distance; and we were truly the best of friends. To the family, she was loved up here in Virginia. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you travel this journey. With love, Twila's old shipmate, Linda Palmer
Simply a beautiful person. The love she showed my son was incredible. When you would call to say you were getting him, my boy started packing his bag like he wasn't coming back cause he was going to God Momma Twaila house. Love and miss you. Praying for your family.
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
