Zelphia Alvina Lyles (Zel), born to the late Thomas and Alvina Lyles on July 4th, 1965, transitioned from this life on February 2nd, 2020. She leaves to cherish her memory her sister Barbara Seldon, nieces & nephews, godparents Bishop Robert & Mother Shirley Batten, sister/dearest friend Shaneka (Pook) Mitchell, brother/dear friend David-Brian McGinnis, and friend of many years Carla Scudder. Zel also leaves behind a host of additional friends and family. An informal gathering and farewell on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, 6-8 pm at Smith-Young Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in the Green Acres Cemetery, Columbus,GA on Thursday, February 13, 2020.

Hey Zoe, it's been four years since you left this world and transition to glory. I know you up there messing with everybody in a heavenly self mannered way you are. I still miss you and even though I couldn't fly out from Philly to be there to say my final goodbye, I just want you to know that you were the best person that could introduce me to as a friend.
