United State Army Veteran, Mr. Carl Louis Route, Jr., 68, of John Creek, Ga. transitioned this life on Wednesday, April 15th at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Ga.
Carl L. Route Jr. found joy in lifeβs simple and meaningful moments. He had a deep love for fishing, traveling, reading, and singing, and especially cherished time spent at the beach. Carl was naturally drawn to people; he enjoyed meeting others, exploring new places, and gaining a deeper understanding of different cultures.
He was passionate about making a difference, particularly in the lives of young people. Carl believed strongly in creating opportunities for todayβs youth and instilling the importance of education, family values, and community.
Above all, Carl treasured time with his family. He found some of his greatest joy in the presence of his grandchildren and held a deep and enduring love for his beloved wife, Kathy Jean Route, who was truly the love of his life.
Homegoing celebration services will be held Friday April 24th at 11:00 A.M. at North Point Community Church located at 4350 North Point Pkwy. in Alpharetta, Ga. 30022.
