To Nicole, Rome, I will never forget the moment when Petey first discovered that Quan was your big cousin. The look on his face, the joy in his eyes—it was a beautiful realization that brought us all closer together. I remember how Petey started calling me "auntie", trying to explain to him, but he told me I was his auntie, knowing that I was not his auntie. I never told him otherwise, and every time he showed me nothing but hugs, smiles, and told me he loved me. Losing you has been one of the most heartbreakingly difficult experiences we've ever endured. The pain of your absence is a heavy weight that we all carry every single day. It feels like a part of us is missing. Yet, amidst that sorrow, there is a comfort rooted in knowing that you are now in our hearts forever. From your place in Heaven, I want you to know that your baby girl—your parents—will forever be wrapped in love, and that love is enough to sustain us through the hardest of times.
