Obituary For Joe McCray

Mr. Joe McCray of Tifton,Ga, transition this life on Tuesday at Tift Regional Medical Center. Services will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Southview Mortuary Chapel in Tifton, Ga. at 2:00 p.m. The committal will follow in Greenwood Cemetery and repass at the Neighborhood Community Center.

On Tuesday, November 5th, God was waiting to usher Mr. Joe Nathan McCray into heaven. Mr. McCray was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Annie Rains Robinson; father, Mr. Joe Nathan McCray, Sr.; stepfather, Mr. Charles “Chuck” Robinson,; and his sister, Ms. Melissa McCray.

He leaves to cherish his memories his lifetime partner and friend, Ms. Rosa C. Thorton; his children, Conswilla (Lamont) McCray, Antonio Marshall, Jokell McCray, Joquell McCray; stepdaughters, Sajobia Span and Angela Span; sisters, Cathy (Sherman) Britton, Joe Ann McCray, Nancy (Anthony) Jones, Carol McCray, Santiva (Horace) Scott; sister-in-law, Annie Mae McCray; brothers, Johnny L. (Linda) McCray, Anthony McCray, and Christopher Jacobs; aunts, Mildred Moore, Marie Range, Rosa Lee McCray, Jeanette (Isill) Pitman; uncles, Jimmy L. (Ann) Range; 2 grandchildren, Delvin Joel McCray and Diamond McCray; 3 great grandchildren, Kamdyn Harris, Aaliyah Wright, and Trent Nathan McCray; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Lastly,A special thanks to his nieces, Lakisha (Troy) Gibson and April McCray.
