My heartfelt condolences to you, Thea, and the children. I know John is safe and protected. He is resting now in the arms of the Lord. All my love, Aunt Margaret
Hello to all, The memories that I share of John and I we worked at Harvey's grocery store with our manager name Bo Pitt we were his bad boys. We worked very hard all the time but no matter what we did. It was never good enough for both so one day John decided that he was just not gonna work hard. He was just gonna work just enough to make it. So both noticed that and went to John and asked him what was wrong. He says nothing wrong give me a low-grade no matter if I do good or if I do bad so the best thing for me to do is just do average and I'm still gonna get the same conversation for me. Hard work pays off when I put in so I was expecting a pay raise. For the first of the next month, he was given his pay rate I still remember that day. That was a date. He spoke up for himself and he spoke up for all of us. He's a courageous and great man that always on this side of what's right. You're gonna be truly missed by a lot of people, but you're definitely missed by your friend that you left over 40 years ago at a grocery store.. thank you for all your good teaching and your good conversation. Your journey has changed and you're on the other side talking to family members and friends that you haven't seen in man Your journey has changed and you're on the other side talking to family members and friends that you haven't seen in many years.
