John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. Melinda was a very passionate and loving soul. She was a protector of the ones that she held dear in her heart, especially her children and would always help those in need no matter the cost. You could always count on her to be there even if tears were rolling down her cheek, she would put her own troubles aside and embrace you with love. On March 10, 2020 Melinda got to experience the ultimate love of our Heavenly Father as he received her in his arms forever to take away the tears and pain of this earth. She was proceeded in death by her brother John and Grandfather Charles.

Her surviving immediate family is her son Cameron, daughter Payton, mother Teresa, brother James, and fiancé David. Also leaving behind two step fathers who she loved dearly along with many friends, mentors, and other family members. One of her favorite bible verses was Psalm 23:1 - 6 The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures, he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul, he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil, for thou art with me, thy rod and thy staff the comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies, thou anointest my head with oil, my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
