Obituary For Virgina Whitehead

Ms. Virginia Whitehead 76 of Tifton, Ga transitioned this life on Monday, February 6th at her residence, surrounded by her love one.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Beulah Hill Family Life Center located in Tifton, GA. Committal will be held in Oakridge Cemetery with repast to follow at the Leroy Rogers Senior Center. There will be a visitation with the family from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Ms. Virginia Edna Whitehead was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 6, 2023. Her spirit left peacefully with her family by her side. Ms. Whitehead was born on June 27, 1946 to the parentage of the late Marvin Norris and Willia Pearl Norris. She was a dedicated worker for Prestolite Manufacturing Company until her retirement.

Ms. Virginia loved helping others. She was an usher at New Life House of Praise, as well as, a minister of healing. In addition, she devoted her time to Leroy Rogers Senior Center.

In 2013, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Whitehead. In addition to her son, Patrick Whitehead, her late parents, her sisters, Velver Lene Norris, and Lavena Faye Norris.

She is survived by her children, Audrey Whitehead, Jennifer Whitehead, Samantha Whitehead (Mikeshia), Tywanda Hall, Bernard Wesley (Beverly), Tina Hardge, and Martin Norris, her sisters, Vera Norris, Emma Brown, Shirley Dorsey, Christine (George) Wallace, Naomi (David) Whitehead, Patricia Griggs, and Jackie Johnson (Charlie), her brothers, Morris Norris, Willie Norris, Curtis Norris (Margret), Jimmy Norris, and Robert Norris (Jeanette), her grandchildren, Audrianna (Antoniyo) Norman Jr, Joshua, Jamia, Jakori, Derick, Kaliah, Tyler, Patrick Jr, Kaleb Graham, DeShon Hardge, her great-grandchildren, Kaley, Chaz, Allen, Maurice, Kehlonii, her special niece, Angela Smith, her adopted daughter, Blonese Jones, her bestfriend, Barbara Robinson, her special caregiver, Sherena Dowers, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
