Obituary For Wayne Henry Brown

Wayne Brown, 72, died Thursday the 7th of December, 2023 after a gradual decline in health. Wayne was born in Forest, Mississippi before moving to South, Florida where he met and married, Mary, the love of his life. In 1993, Wayne and Mary moved to Sylvester, Georgia, and have lived there ever since. Wayne loved the country life and telling jokes. After retiring from Waste Management, Wayne spent his days hunting, fishing, and planting his own vegetable gardens. But we won't leave out his ability to be an all-around handyman. His motto was, "If they can fix it, so can I!" And he proved it time and time again. Wayne was preceded in life by both of his parents: father: Glover Brown, mother: Annie Brown. Wayne is survived by his loving wife, of 42 years, Mary Lee Brown, Son: Dexter Brown (Denise), daughters: Jaunda Smith, Kisha Mickins (Reggie), Jannie Hunter, and Teresa Brown, three brothers: Fred Brown (Betty Jean), Kenneth Brown (Sharon), and Gene Allen, three sisters: Roverta Hunt, Annie Jewel Spivey (Rev. I.C), Bobby Nell Harris, nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews..

Service will be held on Sunday, December 10th at 2:00 p.m. at The Church of Christ located on Isabella Street in Sylvester, Georgia.
