Mikey wasn't at the school I couched at but we got to know him very well and aside from music he was a damn good wrestler. Tough seeing a loss at such a young age. He seemed to have such a bright future. My thoughts and prayers to the family as I'm sure this is an unimaginable loss. RIP Mikey

I remember the first time I ever met Mikey and it was when i went to a house party and Mikey was walking over to his car and stopped my sister and i. we stood there for so long talking to him. little did i know that he was going to be like an older brother. one day when i got off work early, i came home expecting to find an empty apartment and mikey popped up out of no where. we sat for about 4 hours just talking and we stepped our friendship up to the next level. Even though we stopped speaking a while ago, he would still be there in a heartbeat if needed and that's what made him such a special human. he always protected those around him and he inspired so many of us with his dream to make it big. he put his literal blood, sweat, tears and heart into his music and fashion and whatever it was that he did. he never took no for an answer. he was a brother, a friend, a best friend, a true ROCKSTAR LIVING, as well as an uncle to my daughter, his face lit up when he saw her, but was also a son. an amazing crazy, hard working, talented son. we love you forever and always mikey🤍 fly high and paint us the most beautiful sunsets we've ever seen. it's just not the same without you.

I am loss for words because me and Kandi adopted so many of the Dutchtown high kids. So this one hurts because our kids played football together and at a blink of any eye they became young adults. Mike had an upbeat spirit just like his mom and that star that he was aim to be will shine brighter than you could imagine. Love you Kandi and praying for us all.

My name is Layla and I had met Mikey a few months ago around March at a park I normally go to around the corner from where I lived. I saw him and a videographer getting ready to shoot a video and I'm an artist myself so I said I need to tap in with him cuz its no coincidence I go to that park very often but never seen him there. After I connected with him on social media he was very enthusiastic and genuine . During this time period I was going thru a phase of procrastination and self-identity loss. So to see him doing his thing on the stage and his fashion shows really inspired me . Even tho I didn't get to truly know him I'm blessed to have met such an authentic, electrifying soul.
