On Saturday, October 8, 2022, our Heavenly Father called one of His precious angels, Mrs. Geneva Brown Gradison, home to be with Him. Geneva was born on August 1, 1936, to the late Eva and Horace Brown in Gloucester Va, and was educated at Gloucester Training School in Gloucester, Va. She continued her education at Norfolk State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and a Master's from Old Dominion University.Upon graduation, Geneva went on to be an Educator with the Chesapeake Public Schools and retired after over 30 years of service in 1996 Geneva attended Macedonia Baptist Church, serving on the deaconess board and the choir, and also attended Chesapeake Church of Christ. Because Geneva didn't believe in being idle, she was always involved in the community.
