Daryl Francis Robinson entered this world joyfully on October 7, 1981, in Baltimore, MD to the proud parents: Gloria Jean Robinson and the late Robert T. Powell in Baltimore, MD. The angels quietly swept Daryl away on Sunday, January 30, 2022. At an early age, Daryl began to show his love of playing sports. While living in Radcliff, KY, he joined a little league football and baseball team. He was the star running back for the 49ers football team leading them to numerous years of championship titles. He also hit many a home run and pitched for the baseball team. He continued his desire to play football while attending North Hardin High School earning a position as running back. The family relocated to Cincinnati, OH, where Daryl attended Colerain High School. He excelled in academics while pursuing his love of playing football. He earned a tailback position on the Colerain Cardinals. He cherished the Cincinnati Bengals. After graduating in 1999, he was awarded a five-year football scholarship to Miami University at Oxford, OH. Daryl was #27. He pledged Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated in 2000 while attending college. Daryl was one of the nicest and kindest souls you could ever meet. He always had a smile of gold every time you saw him. He was a loving son, brother, nephew, grandson, and a true friend. He will be truly missed by his family and friends. Daryl was preceded in death by his father Robert T. Powell, beloved grandmother, Fayrine R. Robinson and uncle, Timothy Lee Robinson. I am so sorry for the loss. I always thought there would be more time. I didn't get to spend a lot of time with my cousin Daryl but the times we did was filled with love to and from a cousin. Gloria and Reggie I pray for your comfort. Love you both.
Daryl was full of life. You could be having the worst day and he would say something off the wall and you'd forget what it was that was weighing you down. I truly believe he was an Angel sent among us to walk the earth and bring people joy and happiness. H will be truly missed. I love and miss you already Daryl.
Ms. Gloria Robinson and my friend Reggie and your family, my heart and soul go out to you and your family in the time of your loss. I can honestly say I hate death. I long for the day when our Lord and savior will say death where is your sting. Because (death) will be no more. I pray at this time the power of Gods spirit will be with each of you and comfort you in the hope and power of the resurrection, by knowing you will see your loved one again through the blood of our savior Christ Jesus who laid down his flesh and life on earth so that all mankind can have eternal life. The struggles of this old world will be things of the past and a life of peace happiness and peace will be here. At that time we all can say Death where is your sting. So let's keep the fond memories of Daryl fresh in your mind and heart till the day you will see your loved one again. I love you guys and my thoughts and prayers are with you.
