Bernice Peterson Wolfe was born on October 17, 1950 in Valdosta, GA to the late Mary and Jack Peterson, who preceded her in death.
Bernice enjoyed taking care of children. She was loved and always showed love to everyone she met. Bernice was previously married to Willie Turner Wolfe.
Bernice slept into eternal rest on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Pruitt Health Holly Hill.
Bernice is survived by one son, Timothy Peterson, Sr. (Carolyn) of Valdosta, GA; three grandchildren, Tim Peterson, Jr., Shaniece McClain and Jordon Glaster; one brother, Jimmy Petterson (Sandra) of Valdosta, GA; five nieces, Tan Jones, Torrey P. Wright (Joe), Brandi P. McGilberry (Mandrell), Tyra Glover and Amariya Jones; two nephews, Jaylon Wright and Caleb Jones; special friends, Yvonya Bess, Mary Demps, Barbara Scott, Helen Baker and Mr. and Mrs. Jake Wright all of Valdosta, GA.
The celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at The Victory Church, 1619 North Lee St., Valdosta, GA 31601. Rev. Jimmy “Jay” Williams, pastor, Rev. Keith Hall, officiating. Burial will follow at the Pallbearers Cemetery.
Public viewing will be held Friday, March 29, 2024 from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
