Ms. Eleanor Louise Antley-Marshall, age 77 who resided at 4460 Val Del Road, Hahira, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on November 17, 1947 to the late Reverend Jesse and Ruth Marshall.
She attended Pinevale High School and graduated in 1965. Eleanor furthered her education receiving a Certificate in Childcare Development. On August 29, 1966, she happily married Willie Span Antley, Sr. She was employed by the United States Marine Corps Child Development Center in Beaufort, South Carolina.
Eleanor was a devoted and faithful member of Ministry of Life Ministries Inc. under the direction of Bishop Dr. Jesse Marshall, III in Valdosta, GA where she served as the Church mother.
During her military support travels, she led the Protestant Women of the Chapel group in Fayetteville, North Carolina, as well as taught Sunday school and Vacation Bible school. Eleanor served as the Squadron’s Wife support leader at Pope A.F.B. in Fayetteville, North Carolina for 13 years.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Span Antley, Sr.; her two sisters, Rita Marshall and Marie Marshall.
She leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memories five children, Eric LaVictor Antley (Rita) of Valdosta, GA, Demetra Antley of Beaufort, SC, Ursula Antley (fiancé, Willie) of Valdosta, GA, Dr. Mark Edward Antley Sr. of Bonaire, GA and Willie Span Antley, Jr. of St. Marys, GA; eleven grandchildren, Brittney Antley, Troy Grimes, Mark Grimes, Angelica Grimes, Joshua Antley, Maya Antley, Jada Antley, Mark Antley, Jr., Willie Antley, III, Abrianna Antley and Raenna Antley; five brothers, Richard Marshall (Veronica) of Atlanta, GA, Herman Marshall (Vernita) of Albany, GA, Joe Marshall, Sr. (Sandra), Bishop Dr. Jesse Marshall III (Carolyn) and Tony Marshall (Sabrina) all of Valdosta, GA; five sisters, Donnie Jean Rowe (L.C), Mary Johns (Norman), Nancy Smith (Jerome), Gail Lane (Willie), Antonette Sharp (Eric) all of Valdosta, GA; one brother in-law, David Tyrone Evans (Chesney) of Beaufort, SC; also a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The celebration of life service will be held Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Evangel Temple Church, 2045 Clay Road, Valdosta, GA 31601. Bishop Dr. Roger Thomas, officiating, Bishop Dr. Jesse Marshall, III, eulogist.
Public viewing will be held Friday, March 21, 2025 from 12:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

A daughter a mother a grand and great grandmother. My mothers love is hard to explain so I will keep close all memories that remain. The secret talks between the two of us and the summers on end with her grands will always be a memory that no one can replace even after her transition from this place.
