Austin Rashad Miller was born on Tuesday, November 19, 1985, at John D. Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, Georgia to his loving parents. At the age of 11, he started singing in the choir at Rebecca Missionary Baptist Church. In 2001, he began traveling and singing with The Edward Brothers Quartet Group. While singing with The Edward Brothers for many years, Austin recorded two songs “Have A Little Faith” and “Bring Me Down”. During this time, he also was a member of Gear-Up Community Choir and The Voices of Grace.

While attending Thomasville High School, he played football for the Thomasville High Bulldogs. He was a member of the band where he played the snare drum and threw shot put and discus on the track team. After High School, Austin continued his musical journey by relocating to Valdosta, Georgia and joining Ray of Hope Christian Center under the leadership of Pastor Troy Riley. At Ray of Hope, he was an active drummer and choir member. During this time, he began to pursue his culinary career. He perfected his craft by starting his own catering business and by working for various companies within the food industries.

Austin is survived by; His parents, Willie Miller Jr. and Bernadine Jones; his wife, Eva Miller of Valdosta, GA; His daughter that was his heart, Arshunna Miller; three step-children, Jasmine Murphy, Lakeyah Williams, and DaVone Williams all of Valdosta, GA; three sisters, Crystal Miller-Diggs (Anthony), Tiffany Clark, and Jasmin Miller; One brother, William Miller all of Thomasville, GA; two grandmothers, Mary Miller of Thomasville, GA and Edith Coxfield of Sparks, GA; three aunts, Anita Dyson (Jeffrey) of Valdosta, GA, Ruby Coxfield of Adel, GA and Janice Stanford of Warner Robins, GA; four uncles, Michael Coxfield of Hahira, GA, Brian Coxfield, Ryan Coxfield, and Wendell Coxfield all of Sparks, GA; mother-in-law, Eva Jones of Valdosta, GA; father-in-law, Fredrick Williams (Darlene) of Gretna, FL; one sister-in-law, Sheniqua Williams of Gretna, FL; two brother-in-laws, Chartavis Williams of Gretna, FL and Fredrick Williams Jr. of Valdosta, GA; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly and will never forget the impact that he had on their lives.

He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Willie Miller Sr., Benjamin Stanford Sr., and Eddie B. Coxfield; his uncles, Benjamin Stanford Jr. and Nathaniel Edwards; his aunts, Jacqueline Miller and Pastor Alice Edwards.

Austin...why did you have to leave us like this especially your baby girl...I know God came and got you for a reason and there is another mission he has you doing but the hurt and pain you left us all in is unbearable...we all miss you so much.I miss your positive spirit..your wonderful voice...your uplifting spirit...crazy sense of humor..those wonderful plates...it just dawned on me..God wants you to cook for those angels above...Long story short we miss and love you Austin such a tragic lost...Nik from Mellow Mushroom
