My heart goes out to Bev's family and friends. I've worked with her for several years and it will take a while to get used to not seeing her. She was always quick to give words of encouragement just when you needed it. We shared many thoughts. I am thankful that she was my friend and will never forget her. Prayers for her family....may you find peace knowing she is with our Heavenly Father.

My heart goes out to the Samuel family who I grew up with knowing all of my life in Morven, GA. Beverly had such a beautiful spirit, and smile. I am sending my condolences from Alabama -Dorothy, and my mother Dot Edwards.

I had the pleasure to know Bev through the OR at SGMC, she always gave words of encouragement she was a very caring individual. She will be missed by many. My prayers and thoughts are with all her family and friends.

Bev was definitely a one of a kind sweet lady. She always had a smile for you. Going back years at SGMC I'm so glad I had the honor of knowing Beverly and calling her my friend. Condolences to her family and know that Heaven gained an Angel.

Bev will always hold a special place in my heart. A few years ago, when I was practically brand new to the operating room, my brother unexpectedly passed. Bev went out of her way to make sure that I was ok. Between calls and hugs, and constant follow ups. Whether it was a quick prayer, or words of encouragement, or sometimes just a simple nod that let me know that she was there and that I could go to her if I needed. She is one of the main reasons I was able to survive such a tragic loss. And that was just the beginning of our relationship. Bev always told me exactly what I needed to hear, not necessarily what I wanted in that moment, but I always listened. She had so much wisdom and strength and it was impossible to not be in awe of that. Over the years we have had countless laughs and good times. We even had a running joke that we were going to set my son up with her granddaughter one day. I fully believe that souls like hers only come around once in a lifetime and I am beyond blessed that I had the privilege of knowing her and calling her my friend. She truly was a beautiful person and I'm heartbroken over this loss, but also comforted in knowing we will meet again one day. My heart aches for her family and loved ones and you all are in my prayers! -Amber Dailey
