Reflections of the Life of Calvin Carter On March 16, 1953, Calvin Carter was born to the late Jessie Carter and Sadie Ruth Burgman. He resided in Nashville, Georgia. He educated in the Berrien County Public School system. On September 14, 2022, Calvin answered the call and entered eternal rest to meet the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, father (Jessie Carter); mother (Sadie Ruth Burgman) and one brother, Joe Lee Carter. He will always be in our hearts and will truly be missed dearly by family and friends. Calvin enlisted in the United States Army in 1974, where he served his country for many years. His personality was infectious. He was loved by all, and was full of fun, laughter and good times. He showed much love for his children and family. Calvin continued his journey to New York, where he resided until his passing. In 1975, Calvin united with the late (Lillie Pearl Button) and from this union he leaves to mourn; a devoted and dedicated son, Kovi L.
