Ms. Cassandra L. Fulton, 47
Cassandra Lavette Fulton was born on November 4, 1975 to Linda Ann Brown and Willie James Brown, Jr. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Andrew Fulton, Jr., her aunt Pansy Fulton, and her nephew Damien Fulton.
Cassandra attended the Brooks County School system and later received her GED. As an adult, she worked at Valdosta Dry Cleaning. Cassandra was the first black woman to work at Badcock of Quitman. She also worked for Crown Healthcare Laundry for X years. After working there, she stayed home to take care of her grandkids. She was a member of Fodie Church of God in Unity.
Cassandra was the oldest grandchild out of five generations. She was the backbone of the family. She had a loving and caring spirit like no other. She was everyone's therapist. It wasn’t a time you didn’t see her, and she wasn’t smiling. Everyone knows she was always the life of the party.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory her two daughters: Naudya Brown and Jada Brown; two sons: Trey Brown and Cellos Fulton. Her mother Linda Brown and her father Willie Brown, Jr.; five grandchildren: Sha’Riya Brown, Jordyn Brown, Ta’Liaa Head, Bailey Wilson and Dylan Wilson; three brothers: Willie Brown, Dantonio Brown and Androplis Fulton (Danielle); two grandmothers: Bessie Boney and Margie Fountain (Fred); one lifelong sister Sandra Smith-Grant; two Godsons: Turner Christian and Braxton Brown; a special friend: Jimmy Simmions; a special daughter: Derrika Reynolds and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and family friends.
Funeral services were Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. at the Beulah Baptist Church in Quitman, Georgia with Dr. Kenneth Dupree officiating. Burial followed at the Pineview Cemetery in Quitman.
