Charlene enjoyed the simpler things of life and focused on what really mattered. Charlene kids meant the world to her. Her greatest joy was loving on her family and friends!

To know Charlene was to love her. She was genuine, sweet, kind-hearted, humble and full of love. She was beautiful on the inside and out. She was a wonderful listener and the best secret keeper.

She was gentle but direct, firm but patient and never had a problem speaking her mind. She was quiet but strong. She was sensible, fair, resilient, and loyal. Charlene was truly one of a kind, irreplaceable, and our angel on earth. On the morning of November 26, 2023, the Lord called her home to eternal rest. She is now united with her beloved mother Fannie Mae Thomas, her Father David Gee; Grandmothers Willie B Leonard and Essie Lee Tate.

Charlene leaves to cherish her precious memories: two children, Diquane (Robert) and Gregory of Dublin Georgia; 3 brothers Jermaine (Nikema) Ghee of Quitman Ga, Fred Ghee and Qawi (Kelia)Miller of Dublin Ga. Nieces and Nephews Aleisha Gray, Cedrick Gray, Demetrius (Jameshia) Gray Jermaine Ghee Ir, Michaiah Ghee, Ja'QuariKhyiel, Jaylin, Zion, Karmen, Karlie, Moni, Loni and by love Tj and Asia great nieces; Dmitriyana, Skaiylah, and Jaliyah Gray Aunt; Lisa Ghee, Catherine Ghee of Quitman Ga and Beatrice Hall of Pinetta Fla Uncles; Uncles Edward (Stephanie) Leonard of New Canaan, Connecticut, Hubert (Addist) Leonard of New Britain Connecticut, Walter (Ethelene) Ghee of Monticello. One Best friend Ashley (DeeDee) Bevard. 2 special Cousins Mattie Hadley and Tracy Smith. a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Home Going celebration will be Sunday, December 10, 2023 at The Evelyn McGhee Repast Center with Bro. Tony Herring, officiating. Burial will follow in Simmon Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
