Teara morrison planted 5 trees in memory of Daryn Morrison . - March 30, 2024
To the Morrison Family, my deepest sympathies to all of you, and especially T.T., I remember how proud Brother Daryn was the day that you were born. I know he would be so proud of you and how well you handled his celebration of life. He was a special brother to us all in the northwest Churches of Christ. I will be forever grateful to you and your Mom, Karen for sharing him with us at Warner Street and Tacoma Church of Christ. Daryn was one of the best youth ministers that I ever met. He impacted so many youth with his support throughout the years. I remember him showing up to games and special activities for my children, Danny and DyVar, and he truly seemed to genuinely care about their salvation. They were both baptized under his leadership as a youth minister. I thank God for the seeds that you planted! He was also my minister for years bringing the word of God/Jesus to us. Brother Daryn was always there with a word or a helping hand when you needed him. I will never forget the time that I called him to minister to a family who was losing their mother. He didn't know the family personally, but he knew how deeply my daughter cared for them, so he went to the hospital and supported them while the mother passed. Because of his light shown during this difficult time, one of the family members came to Christ and expressed how impactful Daryn's action were to her and the family. This was Bro. Daryn, and I thank Jesus for him. Rest in Peace my Brother!
Sincerely, Christey

Daryn was such a funny guy. We got to know Daryn over many a years as our kids grew up together. The Morrison family made an impact in mine and my daughters life. One of my many memorable moments was of him taking all the kids up to the mountain to play in the snow every year on Martin Luther King day. From the crazy bus rides to the competitive fun on the snow... There was never a shortage of stories and laughter and smiles and giggles. I am forever thankful and grateful. Sending the Morrison family all of our love from WA.
The short while we have known Daryn has been very rewarding. He was always full of energy and exemplified the love that only a true Christian brother could display. Additionally, he was a true spiritual lifter and he will be truly missed. James and Sharon Hayes (South 41 Church of Christ)
