David “Jimmy” Dennard Jr. was born on June 12, 1951 in Tifton, GA to the late Mary Alice Dennard and Late David Dennard/Morris G. Tucker. He attended the Washington Street School in Quitman, GA. He was a Professional Truck Driver at Scruggs Concrete Co. in Valdosta, GA for 21 yrs. until health related retirement. He was married to the late Irene “Boy” Wilkerson Dennard for 38 yrs. until his demise.

Left to cherish his memories are five children: Robert Dennard (Tracy), Gale Dennard, Debra Dennard, Tony Dennard and Sakita Aikens; sisters: Alice Dennard, Carolyn Dennard, Julie (George) Thomas, Marshal (Eddie) Green, Jackie Way, Carmeta Smith, Marilyn Tucker, Mary Tucker, Twanda Way, Brenda ( Dave) Orucmaboo, and Sandra (Darrien) McClenon; brothers: Tommy Dennard, Jerry (Annie) Dennard, Earl (Nancy) Dennard, Calvin (Brenda) Tucker, Willie (Mickey) Tucker, Jimmy (Angela) Solomon, Herman (Syliva) Solomon, Felix (Marcy) Solomon, Eric Tucker, and Christopher (Michelle) Solomon; Mother-in-law Julia Mae Wright and a host of grandchildren, relatives and friends.
