Deacon Floyd Lee Daniels was born October 22, 1960 to the late Willie Daniels, Sr. and Alice Wade Daniels of Brooks County, Georgia. He departed his life at home on June 14, 2023.
He attended and graduated from Brooks County High School with the class of 1978. Floyd was employed with HR Crosby for more than 20 years. He was also a farm leader for BTR Farms for more than 20 years. He was loved and looked up to by each and every co-worker. He was a faithful, dedicated member and deacon of Cedar Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Boston, Georgia.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 45 years Emma Cason Daniels, Pavo, GA; his beloved children Reomeka C. Johnson (Willie J. Johnson), Quitman, GA, Latori S. Williams (Jeffrey Williams), Moultrie, GA; his grandchildren who were dear to his heart Tazh Juan Hadley, Jakobe Shealey (Hannah), Amaya Cason, JaNyia Johnson, Cristian Shealey; great grandchildren who were a joy to his heart Kamora, Taliyah, Raelynn, Grayson, Jakari, Jordan; two bonus great grandchildren Aublee and Kyson; a loving mother-in-law Pearlene Williams; in-laws Christine Wilson, Gladys Goins, Johnny Hunter (JoAnne), Patricia Day, Calvin Hunter (Linda), Tangela Smith (Rev. Roscoe), Lisa Sneed (Deacon Stanley), April Williams, Ronald Williams , Lamekia Williams, Gloria Bridges; two special cousins Vic Thomas, Estella Brown and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
Floyd was preceded in death by 10 brothers and 2 sisters.
Visitation will be Friday, June 23, 2023 at the Stevens-McGhee chapel from 3PM-7PM.
A celebration of life will be Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 11AM at Beulah Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Old Beulah Hill Cemetery. Visit this website or our Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home Facebook page to view a livestream of the celebration.
