Doris Denise Miller was born on February 6, 1954 in Telfair County, Georgia to the late Archie Lee Wilcox and the late Ethel Wilcox.

Known affectionately as “Dee Dee” by family and friends, a woman who loved her husband and children abundantly. She radiated kindness and love to everyone she met. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother, and a good friend to all. She loved spending time with family, traveling, and trying new restaurants. Her presence will be missed greatly. We will cherish the memories we have of her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers: Robert Lee Wilcox and Bob Wilcox. Her sisters: Shirley Ann Wright and Elsie Simpson.

She leaves behind to cherish precious memories to her husband, David L. Miller. Her children: Yeusheca Lissimore, DeElridge Miller (Shalonda). Three grandchildren: Carlos D. Lissimore II, London A. Lissimore, and Camron Armon Marcell Miller. One great-grandchild, Mariah K. Lissimore, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Monday, June 8, 2026 at 9:30 A.M. at the Pineview Cemetery in Morven, Georgia with Pastor Edgar Lumpkin officiating.
