Obituary For Eddie Lee Reynolds
Mr. Eddie Lee Reynolds was born on February 3, 1958, in Quitman, Georgia to the late Mr. Frank and Aretha Reynolds. He departed this life on April 26, 2025. He received his education in Brooks County School System. He served in the United States Army for several years. After being honorably discharged from the Army, he became a carpenter.
Eddie was a kind person that loved his family. He was truly the comedian of the family. He had a nickname for everyone. He married Rosetta Newsome, who preceded him in death, along with his two sisters, Katherine Powell and Christine Reynolds, and one bonus daughter, Felecia Newsome.
Eddie leaves to cherish his memories to his only daughter, Tameica Woodson. One grandson, Malcolm Warren of Valdosta, Georgia. Three sisters: Deloris Herring, Ziena Reynolds and Katina Smith, all of Quitman, Georgia. Two brothers: Ricky Reynolds of Augusta, Georgia and Gregory Reynolds of Quitman, Georgia. Two bonus daughters, Leslie Lasane and Monica Jones of Jacksonville, Florida and a host of bonus grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, May 2, 2025 at the Stevens-McGhee chapel from 2PM-7PM.
Homegoing services will be Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 11AM at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. James Redmon, officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visit our Facebook page to view a livestream of the celebration.
