Eric "Lee" Reynolds, a man of unwavering faith, strength, and love. Born on May 4, 1971, in Quitman, Georgia, to the late Wallace and Ethel Reynolds, Eric's life was a testament to his deep commitment to his family and his God.
A proud graduate of Simon Hill, Eric served his country in the U.S. Army before becoming a reservist. However, his life's true work was found in his faith. For over 30 years, he was a dedicated member and became Chairman of the Deacon Board as well as Superintendent of Sunday School at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. His faith was the cornerstone of his life. Deacon Eric was a faithful member of the Brooks County Laymons Board and found immense joy in sharing the Word of God with others, often reminding those he loved,
"Don't let him catch you with your work undone."
Eric was a devoted and loving husband to his wife, Yalonda Reynolds, and a cherished father to his eight children: Ashley Frazier (Calvin), Areona Belk (Joshua), Erica Jordan, Ebony Kelly (Lashayne), Alexis, Latrell, Latrice, and Shamar. He found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life-fishing. football, dancing, and, most of all, spending time with his kids and family. His eight grandchildren-Kamryn, Kayden, Ahmiracle, Aiyana, Landen, Acire, Skylar, and Harmony— were the light of his life.
Eric is preceded in death by his father, Wallace Reynolds; his mother, Ethel Reynolds; his brother, Tommy Gene Reynolds; and his sister, Corine Reynolds Frazier.
His legacy of love, wisdom, and purpose will be cherished by his wife, eight children, eight grandchildren, thirteen siblings -Alene, Wallace Jr. (Keisha), Josephine (Clyde), Denise, Rosa, Newton, Freddie (Valerie), Lena (Anthony), Issac (Cassandra), Tammy, Earnest (Gwendolyn), Keith (Wealthy), and Karen (Daryl)-and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends, a loving pastor and First Lady, and his cherished church family.
May he rest in eternal peace.
