Eula Mae Sheppard was born on April 7th, 1952, to Robert Cole, Sr. and Liza Cole
who preceded her in death. She was married to Ralph Sheppard, for over 20 years. He also preceded her in death. She was a mother of two sons, (Ronald Sheppard and Jeffery Cole). They also preceded her in death.
She was a Brooks County native; born and raised, attending the Brooks County School system. She was employed with Weeks Textiles for over 15 years and The Georgia Motel for over 5 years. She was known for her loving personality, caring spirit, fiery personality and being the life of any space she entered.
She transitioned peacefully in her sleep on March 6th, 2026. In her final days, she was surrounded by her family and friends.
She leaves behind one aunt: Elvenia Hatcher (Frank Hatcher, Sr./deceased).
Her siblings, Bertha Cole Brown (David/deceased); Patricia Ann Cole McQueen (AL/ deceased); George Cole (Emma). She was preceded in death by brothers Curtis Cole and Robert Lee Cole, Jr.
She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends from the community that she loved and cared deeply for.
A celebration of life will be Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 3PM at North End Cemetery with Bro. Tony Herring, officiating. Visit this website to view a livestream of the celebration.
