The Life and Legacy of Gale Hogan
March 16, 1960 - September 29, 2025
Gale Hogan was born on March 16, 1960 to the late Marjorie Johnson, raised by the late Preston and Evelyn Williams.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dec. Earnest Hogan Jr. and sisters, Mother Neady O'Neal and Tammy Madison.
She was a faithful and dedicated member of Keys of Life Outreach Ministries (Quitman, GA) under the leadership of Apostle Willie Freeman, where she served diligently within the hospitality ministry.
She attended Brooks County
High School, graduating in the Class of 1978. For 30+ years she worked at Ithaca Knitting Co., later known as Beech Island Knitting Co. in Quitman, GA.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving siblings: Elder Sherrill O'Neal of Quitman, GA., Jackee Johnson (Anthony) of Chesterfield, VA., Steve Madison of Quitman, GA., Theresa Maxwell (Forrest) of Barney, GA. and special brother, Bishop John Wesley Johnson of Albion, New York. Her sons: Sterling Bradley, Titan Edwards and Jeremiah O'Neal all of Valdosta, GA., Terry Hogan (Peggy) of Woodbridge, VA., Robert Hogan (Karen) of Lilburn, GA. Her daughters: Rachael Caldwell,
Keshier Hogan of Valdosta, GA. Her love was expressed to many, touching the lives of her loved ones. Nephews: Keyaunté O'Neal (Janice), Clarence O'Neal, Preston O'Neal, Nathan Edwards Jr., Kelvon O'Neal and Isaiah Edwards, all of Valdosta, GA. Nieces: Felicity Vick (George), Felicia O'Neal, Tamberlan Edwards, Alizah Edwards and Tiffany O'Neal, all of
Valdosta, GA. A host of cousin's, friends and associates, with a special love for the Class of 1978.
Visitation will be Friday, October 3, 2025 at the Stevens-McGhee chapel from 2PM-7PM.
A celebration of life will be Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 3PM at Calvary Christian Center with Apostle Willie Freeman, officiating. Burial will follow in Pallbearer Cemetery in Valdosta, GA.
