Ms. Hannah Allen, 64
Hannah Allen was born January 30, 1956 in Pavo, Georgia (Brooks County). She was a devoted mother and loving grandmother. After retiring from Aramark in Princeton, New Jersey, she returned home to Georgia. Hannah was an outgoing, soft spoken, and friendly woman who never met a stranger. On Thursday, November 19, 2020, the angels whispered, “Hannah, it’s time to take your rest”.
She was preceded in death by her parents, the late William Russell Allen, Sr. and Edna Manning Allen; four siblings, Johnny Allen, William Russell Allen, Jr., Mary Graves, and Amelia Snow.
She leaves to mourn and to cherish her life and memories, three sons and one daughter-in-law: Antoine Allen (Dyveria), Trenton, NJ, Alfonso Grant, Jr. (Tonya), Blackshear, GA, and Rontaye (Jasmine) Grant, Valley, AL; four brothers, Tommy Lee Allen (Annie Pearl), Pavo, GA, Lamar Allen, Morven, GA, Eddie Allen (Ann), Moultrie, GA, and Herman Allen, Barney, GA; and a host of other family and friends; special friends, Mathenia Paige and Lila Haynes.
Private services were Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Pavo, Georgia with Pastor Herbert Herring officiating. Services can be accessed via video stream at stevensmcgheefuneralhome.com Condolences may be shared here as well. Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
