Obituary For Hattie Lou Hugans

Mrs. Hattie Lou Hugans, the daughter of the late Richard Williams and Bessie Mac Raines Williams, was born on June 25, 1923. She was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.

Confessing Christ at an early age, she joined trinity Missionary Baptist Church. Stster Hugans continually served faithfully during her membership. She participated in several ministries until her health prevented her from participating Those ministries included: Usher Board I, Senior Choir, Senior Mission and Kitchen Committee.

Sister Hugans was noted for helping and sharing unselfishly with other community activities and clubs. She was a charter member of the Concern Citizens of Boston, Women Will of Workers Club of Boston, The International Benevolent Society;

INC, and Boston Lodge Number 696.

Sister Hugans retired as a maid in Bosion, Georgia. Just as her spiritual roots were elected in time, so were her family bonds.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. J.B. Hugans. They shared a loving life together for many years.

Sister Hugons leaves a rich legacy of family to her loving sons Kenneth L. Hugans and Kelvin L. Williams (Evelyn);one brother; Robert R. Wilhams (Mamie), Valdosta, Georgia; three grandchildren, Alavshia Willtams, Boston, Georgia, Kelvin Williams, Ji., Boston, Georgia, Marqueze Williams, Europe Army National Guard and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 20, 2025 at the Stevens-McGhee chapel from 3PM-7PM.

Home Going services will be Friday, March 21, 2025 at 1PM at Trinity MB Church in Boston, GA. Burial will follow in the Boston Cemetery. Visit this website or our Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home Facebook page to view a livestream of the celebration.
