Jermaine Ahmad Scott arrived November 6th, 1979 to parents, Loretta (Manning) Williams (James C) and James R. Scott, Sr. (Thellma). He was the youngest of six siblings (Baby Boy). Jermaine graduated in 1997. He worked countless different jobs and went to school for truck driving and received his CDL license. He finally found his place at TA due to a special friend and mentor Ms. Bessie. Jermaine dedicated over 20 years to TA/Popeyes. He enjoyed anything dealing with technology.
But was his happiest when
he was spending time with his family.
He leaves to cherish memories his wife, Tara Anita Scott; sons, Adrian Collins, Jabari Scott, Qua'Maine Scott and Jy'Kir Haynes; sister, Erica Moody (Big Lil Mama) (Clarence); brother, Tony Brown, (Trina); sister, LaTechia Goolsby (Darryl); brother, James Scott, Jr. (Denise); sister, Courtney Duty (Ken); special brother, Jermaine Johnson; a loving grandmother, Ms. Lillie Mae Jackson; and a host aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, countless cousins, friends,
coworkers past and present.
Visitation will be Friday at the Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home chapel from 4PM-7PM.
A celebration of life will be Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 2PM at New Hope Baptist Church in Valdosta, GA with Pastor A. Hopkins, officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Quitman, GA.
