Obituary For Jerry Willie Sapp, Sr.

Jerry Willie Sapp, Sr. was born April 4, 1964 in Brooks County, Georgia to the late Willie Sapp and Juanita L. Sapp of Quitman, Georgia.

Jerry attended Brooks County High School, where he played football for the Brooks County Trojans as a hard hitting linebacker, #58 (Sticky). He met the love of his life, Cassandra Watts. He was a dedicated family man and friend to many.

Jerry passed away on November 19, 2025 in Thomasville, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Juanita Sapp; brother in law Larry Carson of Lakeland, Georgia and sister in laws Stacie Sapp and Wanda Sapp of Morven, Georgia.

He leaves his memories to be cherished by his children Jerry (Anna), Tocarra, Jared, and Julie Sapp; his grandchildren Aaliyah and Chloe; his brothers and sister Charles, Danny (Debra), Dennis, Janice, and Jamie (Kim).

Visitation will be Saturday, November 22, 2025 at the Stevens-McGhee chapel from 2PM-5PM.
