The Obituary
John Jr. Haynes known as “Bap” was born December 26, 1948 to Willie Roy Haynes and Willie Mae Bryant who preceded him in death. John worked as a farmer and enjoyed deer and coon hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of Salvation Pentecostal Church.
John departed his life September 14, 2020. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, some nieces, and nephew. John leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Delois Haynes; children, Lashawnda (Torino) Thomas, Leroy Haynes, Racheal (Robert) Brown, LaRhonda (Tre) Haynes, Lonnie King, LaKeisha King, and Adrian Goins; 17 grandkids, and 8 great-grandkids; sisters, Lila Haynes, Agnes Lucus, Theo Haynes, Peggy Bell, and Annie Mae Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, relatives, and friends.
A private celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at 2PM. Visitation will be Saturday at the Stevens-McGhee Chapel from 3PM-6PM. To my cousins I'm truly sorry for y'all loss. Uncle Bap was an amazing man and uncle. He always checked on my mom to see how she was doing. He will be truly missed.
