Mr. Johnny B. Jackson, Sr., 80
Mr. Johnny B. Jackson Sr., the grandson of Mrs. Emma Ruff (deceased), was born May 27, 1940. He attended the Brooks County School System.
Johnny was an active member of his church at Siloam Missionary Church in Morven, Georgia. Johnny retired after 28 years of faithful service at the Brooks County Road Department.
Johnny is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Mrs. Ruthie Lee Jackson.
Johnny leaves to cherish his loving memories, his two sons, Donzo Jackson (Nicole) and Johnny Jackson, Jr. (Taynna); his nephews, Montego Holloway (Sandra), Bernard Hadley (Amanda), Donmell Hadley, Nacomba Hadley, Combarda Hadley (Shemere), Hans Hadley (Morgan); a special niece, Tashira Hadley; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Private services were Sunday, August 30, 2020 at The Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Quitman, GA with Pastor Patrina Fordham officiating. Visit stevensmcgheefuneralhome.com for the video stream and to share condolences. Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
