Mrs. Judy Renee Sutton was born on June 11,1984 to Billy Sutton and Sharon Sutton of Quitman, Georgia. She attended Brooks County High School and later started her career as a personal caregiver and Founder and CEO of Jerrin's Helping Hand. In December of 2016, she met the love of her life and became Mrs. Judy Gatlin. Judy was a loving and devoted wife, daughter, and mother.
On Wednesday December 17, 2025, she departed her earthly home at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, Georgia.
Judy Gatlin was preceded in death by her son Jerrin Smith, her grandmother Julie Sutton, her brother in love John Denson, aunts and uncles.
Judy leaves to mourn her devoted husband of 9 years Corey “Dala” Gatlin, Quitman; her parents Billy and Sharon Sutton, Quitman; her grandparents Sallie Mack, Quitman, Arthur Sutton, Valdosta, and Robert Davis, Quitman; her children Alexandrial Mack, Jerrica (Marquis) Smith, Jerrick Smith, Jr., Jaden Smith, Jada Gatlin, Jacoreyon McCullen and Ayanna Wright; her brother Jaylon Sutton; five sisters Jalisa (Rodrick) Sims, Dixie, Shajuan Reynolds, Quitman, Jabria Reynolds, Valdosta, Denise Mack, Quitman and Aja King, Valdosta and a loving God sister Sherica Arnold, Quitman; a special, loving aunt Jeanette Mack; four special uncles Daniel Mack, Jr., Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Robert Mack, Quitman, Alexander Mack, Quitman and Arthur Brinson, Jr., Quitman. A loving mother in love and long friend Sandra Denson. With so many loving nieces, uncles, aunts, friends, cousins and her “SHAKE RATTLE AND ROLL CREW” and a devoted church family.
Funeral services were Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. at the Church of God in Unity in Quitman with Apostle Darrell Barron officiating. Burial followed at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Quitman. By family request, livestreaming was not available.
