Mr. Kenneth Ray Holsendolph, Sr. was born on May 9, 1954 in Starke, FL to the late Willie and Elnora Holsendolph.
On December 28, 2024, the Lord called him home to rest.
Kenneth graduated from Washington Street High School, Quitman, GA in 1972. After graduating, he joined the United States Army as a Tactical Wire Specialist, serving at Fort Carson Colorado, South Korea, and Fort Ord, California. He also attended Valdosta Technical Institute. He was employed at Langdale Lumber, Bath Craft, and Crown Laundry; where he retired.
He accepted the Lord as his personal Savior several years ago and he was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church, Quitman, Georgia. He later moved to Lake City; FL and continued serving the Lord at Power House Holiness Church until his passing.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents Willie and Elnora Holsendolph; his brothers; Joseph EarlHolsendolph and Willie Calvin Holsendolph, Sr: Kenneth Ray Holsendolph, Sr: leaves a legacy of memories for his sons: Kenneth Ray Holsendolph, Jr, Malcolm Holsendolph, and Derrick Holsendolph, Valdosta, GA; Daughters, Dana Holsendolph, Valdosta, GA and Danielle Kenyada Holsendolph, Miami, FL; two brothers, Lawrence Charles Holsendolph, St:, Quitman, GA and Anthony (Valencia) Holsendolph, Hinesville, GA; four sisters, Gwendolyn (Charles) Wooten, Patrice (Albert) Griffin, Quitman, GA, Angela (Terrence) Jones, Hinesville, GA, and Monica (Darrell) Frazier, Quitman, GA, sir grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, January 3, 2025 at the Stevens-McGhee chapel from 4-7PM.
A celebration of life will be Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 2PM at Bethel AME Church with Rev. Renee Gee-Theophille, officiating. Burial will follow in North End Cemetery. Visit this website or our Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home Facebook page to view a livestream of the celebration.
