Our Queen Bea: LaRhonda Michelle Smith-Maloy, a twin, born on August 27, 1970 to Paul and Geneva Spencer.
LaRhonda was born a twin and because she was the oldest and bigger of the two, she gained the nickname "Bea," which derived from 'big baby.' She attended American High School, in Hialeah, FL and after ultimately receiving her diploma, she decided to pursue a medical assisting career and became a Certified Medical Assistant. She also became a Tax Preparer.
As a young adult, she married Adrian Smith, Sr. and they were blessed with three kids, MaShonda, Adrian Jr., and Kendra. Later in life, she was married a second time, to Tony Maloy and through that matrimony she was blessed with two kids, Tiffany and Tony Jr.. After raising her five kids, Bea became a grandmother to 15 grandkids, who she loved so dearly.
Bea was very comical and would easily throw some acronyms on you because it was 'her thing' and it was funny. The thing that she liked to do most was throw an 'old school party' to brighten the day.
All she needed was the music and maybe a string of Christmas lights in the ceiling. She made you Get Down, Get Funky and Get Loose.
Unbeknownst to us all, God had chosen May 7, 2024 as her journey's end, here on earth. Although we were not ready, we understood. We all, Thank GOD for blessing us with her light for 53 years.
She was a BEAutiful flower that dropped many pedals of laughter, fun, blessings, sunshine and love to us all. Bea made life fun.
She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Spencer, Sr.; sister, Sheila Spencer-Boyd; and grandson, Amir Smith.
LaRhonda leaves to cherish her memories: her children, MaShonda Smith (Isiah) of Miami, FL, Adrian Smith, Jr (Jamill) of Opa Locka, FL, Kendra Smith of Miramar, FL, Tiffany Maloy of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Tony Maloy of Miami, FL; grandchildren, Isiah Hearn, Jr, Malaysia Hearn, Aiden and Amir Smith (twins), David Allen, Morgan Andrews, Milan Allen, De Mari Smith, Ma'Kaiyah Moore, Dash Moore, Treazure Johnson, Sa'Rhyia Johnson, Xavier Maloy, Josiah Maloy, and Ah'Miyah Maloy of South Florida; mother, Geneva Spencer of Miami, FL; siblings, Tammie Collie of Palm Beach County, FL, Paul Spencer, Jr. (Renee) of Pembroke Pines, FL, and Lawonda Spencer (LaRhonda's twin) of Miami, FL; and godsister, LaQuisha Smith of Jacksonville, FL; aunts, JoAnn King (Kelly) of Miramar, FL, Mary Thompson of Tallahassee, FL, Linda Demps of Quitman GA, Marilyn Grant (James) of Valdosta, GA, Edna Robinson (Perry) of Valdosta GA, Theresa Scruggs of Dixie, GA; uncles, Kelly Demps of Quitman, GA, and William Spencer (Annette) of Miami, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

I send my deepest sympathy to the entire family. Always remember the wonderful times you have spent with your love ones. Please find comfort in what the Scripture (Isaiah 25:8) says in the Bible, "He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away all tears from off all faces".
