A Time to be Born: Lisa Lashon Jones made her entry into this world on October 5, 1971 to loving parents Beulah Lee Williams and Euferti Jones in Quitman, GA.
A Time to be Educated: Lisa was extremely studious and excelled in school. She graduated in 1990 from Jupiter Community High School in Jupiter, FL.
A Time to Live: Immediately after high school, Lisa Lashon Jones served our country by enlisting in the United States Army. She enjoyed employment that allowed her to be of service to others. Lisa enjoyed writing, spending time with her family and embarking on creative adventures. She was always the life of the party and you could count on her infectious smile.
A Time to Plant: While Lisa served many roles in her life, that of mother is the one she cherished the most. She is the proud mother of Jatonia Kitchen, Shanik McCoy, Kamari Goodman and Armonye Goodman.
A Time to Transition: Lisa Lashon Jones left her earthly body on July 15, 2021.
A Time to Mourn: Lisa was loved by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Beulah Lee Williams and Euferti Jones, Sister’s, Gloria Jean Daniels and Linda Elaine West and bother, Joe West.
She leaves to continue to celebrate her life, her daughters, Jatonia Kitchen and Shanik McCoy; Sons, Kamari Goodman and Armonye Goodman; granddaughter, Maczenkie Thompson; sisters, Frances Brown (Willie) and Rubye West; brother, Lee West, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones from far and wide.
Memorial services were held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 5PM on the Evelyn McGhee Community Center Lawn with Pastor Delvin Boatman, eulogist.
