Obituary For Lynn Brown

THE OBITUARY Lynn Leroy Brown, son of Margaret Blankumsee and Leroy Arnold (Gertrude), was born on March 13, 1965 in Brooks County, Georgia. Lynn was born in Christian home and later baptized at St. Phillips Baptist Church in Quitman/Nankin, Georgia. He departed this life on Thursday, September 23, 2021.

Lynn was a hard worker and took pride in his work. This work ethic which he learned growing up on the farm was maintained throughout his life as he migrated to working various jobs such as farming, landscaping, manufacturing, painting, and maintenance.

Lynn was a friendly guy who was always willing to help others whether family, friends or strangers. He also had a modest sense of humor and was a talented storyteller.

Lynn touched all our lives in a special way. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: J.C. and Odessa Brown and paternal grandparents: Charlie and Martha Arnold.

Cherishing his memories are his mother: Margaret Blankumsee, Quitman, GA and father: Leroy Arnold (Gertrude), Quitman, GA; his siblings: Anthony Brown (Marvella), Atlanta, GA; Stephanie Roeser, Thomasville, GA; and Alacia Jordan (Frederick), Jacksonville, FL; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
