Obituary For Patrick Lee Godfrey
Mr. Patrick Lee Godfrey, also known by family as "Boy" or "Rambo," was born on July 22, 1984, in Adel, Georgia. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. He received his education from the Brooks County school system and the Lowndes County school system.
Patrick was survived by: his loving mother, Mary Patricia Godfrey of Valdosta, GA; six children, Koby, Kody, Aaliyah, Christian, Jalyen, and Tywain, all of Quitman, GA; six brothers, Alex (Bridget) Patterson, Nene (Savannah), Zay, and JoJo (Kattish), all of Valdosta, GA, Andre (Amelia) of Sparks, GA, and Tico of Orlando, FL; two sisters, Tracey of Atlanta, GA, and Trich of Orlando, FL, one great-uncle and aunt J.T. and Lillie Pearl Thompson, both of Barney, GA; eleven aunts; three uncles; Mrs. Louise, who he looked to as a mother figure; a special friend, Jessica Berrian; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends that loved him dearly.
Visitation will be Friday, September 22, 2023 at the Stevens-McGhee chapel from 5-7PM.
A celebration of life will be Saturday, September 23, 2023 at First Antioch Baptist Church in Valdosta, GA at 3PM. Visit this website or our Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home Facebook page to view a livestream of the celebration.
