Obituary For Pauline Jackson

Mrs. Pauline M. Jackson was one of eight children of the late Mr. William John Staff and Mrs Ethel Elsie Reed Staff. Pauline was born October 20, 1942 in Norwich, Norfolk England (U.K.). Pauline completed her education in Norwich, and then later united in holy matrimony to the late Mr. Willie James Jackson known as “Jack” in the UK and Buddy in the U.S.

Pauline and her husband Buddy & family later moved to the U.S. to his home in Quitman, GA. Pauline was a house wife for years and took care of her children. Then later in the 1990's started working at BC Packing.

Pauline departed this life on May 8, 2026 at 10:35 A.M. in her home, in Quitman, GA. Her son, Darryl was her caregiver.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, William & Ethel Staff; her husband, Willie Jackson; and her seven siblings: Malcom, John, Joyce, Mary, Ivy, Brenda & Brian.

Pauline leaves behind her four children, Darryl Jackson of Quitman,GA, Lynn Herriot of San Antonio, Tx, Tyrone Jackson (Kim) of Valdosta,GA, and Natasha Jackson Bridges of Jacksonville,FL.

Pauline also leaves behind her loving grandchildren, Tyree Bridges, Tynesha Jenkins, Derrell Jackson, Latemia Herriott, Every Herriot and Jamal Herriott (Alyssa), Shahalane, Tia, David, Shahoghany, Trey; a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews in the U.S. and in the U.K., cousins and friends.
