Ricky Fulton, Sr. was born on September 11, 1963, in Quitman, Georgia, to the late Mr. WC Fulton and Mrs. Louise Parker Fulton.
Ricky was raised in Quitman and received his education in the Brooks County School system. After graduation, he joined the Army National Guard where he served until August 2010.
His love and passion for life will live on in the family he cherished. He leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted child, Ricky (Cheryl) Fulton, Jr. of Dallas, Georgia; his grandchildren, Ricky Fulton, III, Jada A. Fulton, and Ryxen J. Fulton; and great-grandchild, Jayce Clark; he is also survived by his siblings, WC (Sharon) Fulton, Sr., Edward (Diane) Fulton, all of Valdosta, GA; His former wife, Mary Mosley and children Raymond (Demesha), Ryan and Roderick; along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
He was a strong, loving man whose life was guided by strong principles, faith, and integrity. A devoted reader of the Bible, he valued wisdom, truth, and thoughtful reflection; often sharing his insights with clarity and pur-pose. Highly intelligent and articulate, he had a gift for expressing himself and was never afraid to speak honestly or tell things as they were. His generous spirit was evident in his willingness to help others, always offering a hand without hesitation or expectation. He found great enjoyment in fishing, cherishing the quiet moments it provided. A friend to all he met, Ricky was re-spected for his sincerity, strength of character, and unwavering authenticity.
He lived by his personal motto, “Keep it real,” a reflection of the honesty and conviction that defined his life. He leaves behind a legacy of virtue, kindness, and endless love that will never be forgotten.
